Farmers Market

Based in the heart of rural Shropshire, Harper Adams University is at the epicentre of agriculture across the country. As market leaders in their field it seemed only right that they invited the best producers, the most passionate foodies, along to the event that embodied all that is great about the field to fork message.

Within the farmers' market you were able to find meat direct from the farmer, including rare breeds, well hung joints and the stories behind the farm, the fields that have been grazed and the journey that farmer chose for the animals. You enjoyed the lightest, fluffiest cakes, the best chocolate, delicious samosas, jams and chutneys from Shropshire produce and fresh produce galore.

Then washed it down with the best beers, ciders, wines and juices and finised with a dessert or two. Of course we wanted you to stock up your cupboards but we also had a whole range of delicious street food for you to enjoy, including tasty curries, slow roasted burgers, fresh wraps and freshly ground coffee, oh and ice-cream, no festival is complete without Shropshire ice-cream!
